Community Outreach

Our firm is currently involved in a variety of award-winning community programs. We currently work in public-private partnership with agencies as diverse as the national law firm of Bickel & Brewer, New York University, Dallas Independent School District, the National Forensic League, Special Olympics Texas, and Shakespeare Dallas, just to name a few. The firm is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, International Association of Business Communicators, League of American Communications Professionals and Dallas Press Club.

The firm’s principals also frequently lecture and write on business and public relations issues. For example, firm president Travis Carter has served as a featured speaker at Media Relations New York, the nation’s largest media relations conference. He has served as a panelist at the National Communication Association Annual Conference in Chicago, and he was chosen by the Texas Public Relations Association to moderate a panel discussion, “Managing Newspaper Relationships,” featuring some of the Southwest’s most prominent news reporters. More recently, Carter was a featured presenter for the Public Relations Society of America on the topic of "Managing PR in the Legal Arena."  Carter has served as a featured writer for PR News and the internationally distributed magazine Philanthropy World.

Firm representatives have held board positions with many community and business organizations, including the Southwestern Insurance Information Service, Texas Insurance Council and Dallas Chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Drivers.
